A specialty wound gel, it absorbs wound exudate and fluid as it prevents and slows bacterial growth on the wound site.

It is especially designed to use on skin that is wet due to weeping wounds, all types of diabetic and venous ulcers, infected wounds and pressure sores.

How does it work?  As the skin absorbs the gel, the cadexomer releases iodine, which breaks up the bacteria in the wound without damaging the healing skin.
