Soft fabric. Lots of extra strap. Velcro is glued on

They give you a generous amount of fabric. Any kind of force applied to the securing, Velcro device will rip it off the fabric. I was pissed at first but I soon realized that if you just use the Velcro itself to secure it to the strap (after tightening around the tube) it does a good job. The caveat is that it is a pain to take it apart later. I really would have liked if the Velcro was stitched on like other devices I have
