Why should I read The Prescription Pad, Finnegan Medical Supply's blog?

If you haven't noticed, we are making big changes at Finnegan Medical Supply.  

One of those is this blog, The Prescription Pad.  We wanted to make a place where we could comfortably discuss topics including your medical supplies, how to use them, the state of the healthcare world in America, and occasionally throw out a coupon code or special sale item.

First and foremost, I am not a medical professional.  I have lived, breathed, and worked in medical supplies and pharmacy since I was a young'un but I am not a medical professional.  And even if I were, I would not give medical advice over the internet!  

With that out of the way, I am here to listen, and offer you products that fit your situation, and to discuss.  I want The Prescription Pad to feel like a living room where you and I sit together to talk about, sometimes, very personal subjects.  I am not here to tell the world about your medical needs, only to listen and help guide you to the product that can help you live your best life.  Or help the person you are caring for find his or hers.

Finnegan's has a long history of helping people outside of the typical pharmacy and medical supply company realm.  You can read more about our family business history here, on our Our History page.  Since 1985, we have been working to bring people the medical supplies they need.  We started off with infant diapers and incontinence products, nutritional drinks and feeding pumps, then moved to diabetic test strips, walkers, the list goes on and on.  We have years of experience with Arkansas Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance, and while this website doesn't accept those forms of payment, I can still answer questions, to a degree, about what is and isn't covered and why.
